Known for her notable films Sugar Rush, Brotherhood and Gangs of Lagos, popular Nollywood director Jade Osiberu is set to take movie lovers on another ride with her new film, Christmas in Lagos.
The recently released film trailer of Christmas in Lagos, which highlights the ‘Detty December’ season in Lagos city, gives a glimpse into what to expect.
The ace director earlier shared the first-look pictures of Christmas in Lagos on November 8, which fueled anticipation for the trailer.
Via her official Instagram handle, on Wednesday, November 20, Nollywood director Osiberu shared the trailer clip of Christmas in Lagos to the pleasure of anticipating fans.
She noted that the aim of the film is to showcase how the Detty December season plays out in a typical Lagos city and most of all to celebrate the uniqueness of Nigeria.
Assuring her fans of the quality of the film she made, Jade promised that they would be so proud when they eventually see the film in a month’s time.
“Christmas in Lagos is Here! So proud to present to you the trailer for my new film. Grateful to everyone who worked on this film. Our amazing cast and super-talented crew.
We set out to make a film that shows Lagos (and Naija) off in its full Detty December glory and when the film is out in exactly one month from today, I think you guys will be really proud of the film. Naija to the World!” she captioned.
Upcoming Christmas in Lagos features popular faces like Richard Mofe Damijo, Shaffy Bello, Waje, Ayra Starr, and Wale Ojo. It is set to be released on Amazon Prime.
