  • Renowned Nollywood director Kunle Afolayan has released the trailer of his anticipated movie Recall
  • Recall film was first announced on October 14 with a poster that stirred anticipation of film enthusiasts 
  • Recall’s trailer comes on the heels of its scheduled screening at the 2024 Africa International Film Festival (AFRIFF) on November 7 

As a build-up to his anticipated film, Recall, renowned Nollywood director Kunle Afolayan has released the official trailer for the upcoming movie. 

The trailer comes in anticipation of its selection to premiere at the 2024 Africa International Film Festival (AFRIFF) on November 7. 

The psychological thriller film, whose official poster was shared earlier, delves into the mysterious twists in a couple’s love story. 

Sharing the video clip of Recall’s trailer on Tuesday, October 29, Kunle Afolayan took to his official Instagram handle to gear more anticipation for the film. 


Get ready to experience RECALL— a supernatural drama that dives into love, memory, and the mysteries that bind us. Directed by @kunleafo. This powerful story comes to life through an exceptional cast that blends Nigerian and International talents.” he wrote. 

The ace director also revealed some of the popular faces on the film including Sharon Ooja, Tina Mba, Patience Ozokwor, Bimbo Akintola, Bolaji Ogunmola, Shan George, Olarotimi Fakunle and Abiola Ogunmowo.

Recall is also expected to have a special appearance by Tosin Martins and a new cast reveal of Milare Ogunmefun, who played Damilola in the film.

Earlier, TheRadar reported that the trailer of Lisabi:The Uprising heightened the excitement surrounding the upcoming cinematic experience.

On the basis of costume, production design, story world, characters, cultural embodiment, believability and overall cinematic feel. TheRadar drew an analysis on the flaws and strengths of the trailer as anticipation heightens for the film.
