With recent Nollywood titles, teases and trailers, the month of March promises to be an exciting ride for movie lovers. 

Some of these anticipated titles have also given a glimpse into its emotional drama, gripping storytelling and unending action. 

Whether you're in the mood for action-packed drama, psychological thrillers or historical epics, there is a story for you this month. 

As March offers a lineup of titles you cannot afford to miss, TheRadar curated a list of 8 most anticipated ones to watch this month. 

Nollywood titles to watch out for in March 

  • Suky — March 7 

The action thriller starring Tobi Bakre follows the story of a man caught in a world of Crime, power and survival. He must confront dangerous enemies to finally change his fate forever. Other acts on Suky include Bimbo Ademoye, Olarotimi Fakunle and Femi Adebayo. It is produced by the makers of Breath of Life, Nemsia Studios. It will premiere on Amazon Prime. 


  • The Cartel — March 7 

This is another action thriller Nollywood title set for March 7, 2025. It captures a story of drug trafficking, power struggles and betrayals. In different twists, secrets are revealed and loyalties tested. It stars Bolanle Ninalowo, Broda Shaggi, Chika Ike, Clarion Chukwurah and Nkechi Blessing. The film distributed by FilmOne cinemas will be available on March 7, 2025. 


  • Red Line — March 14 

Red Line directed by Teco Benson centres on sexual harassment in school. The story revolves around a male student, who in a rare case accuses a female lecturer of harassment. The case drives the story with a women's right activist who steps in to expose and bring the truth to life. Shaffy Bello, Norbert Young, Adunni Ade are some of its cast. It will hit cinemas around the country on March 14. 


  • Finding Me — March 14 

Following her box office charting film, Everybody Loves Jenifa, Nollywood actress Funke Akindele returns with Finding Me. The anticipated film, written, produced and directed by her, features Shaffy Bello, Joseph Benjamin, Femi Adebayo and Omoni Oboli amongst others. It is said to follow a theme of self-discovery as the title suggests. 


  • I Am Anis — March 21 

This is inspired by a true life event. On a path of self discovery and redemption, the lead character Anisola Williams unravels secrets, and confronts painful truths. It stars Shaffy Bello, Charles Inojie, Tina Mba and Debo Adedayo. It is written and directed by Biodun Stephen. The film will premiere on Circuit TV. 


  • Baby Farm — March 21

The anticipated series set to premiere on Netflix tells the story of an unsuspecting pregnant woman, who entrusts her twin babies to an NGO only to find herself trapped in a baby farm operation. The cast features diverse acts from Joseph Benjamin, Rita Dominic, Celia Okechukwu and Folu Storms. 


  • The Masked King — March 28 

The historical thriller explores betrayal, power and destiny. Daniel Etim-Effiong plays King Ansa whose treachery against his people forces his mother to contemplate between two hard decisions. Other cast members include Uche Montana, Gideon Okeke, Segun Arinze and Shaffy Bello amongst others. It will be in cinemas from March 28, 2025. 


  • Labake Olododo — March 28 

Trailing on the road of epics, Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo brings her film Labake Olododo. The story is about a courageous woman, who rises against oppression in her community. She must navigate the hurdles of schemes, betrayal and tradition to fight for justice. It features popular Yoruba acts Femi Adebayo, Ibrahim Chatta and Bukunmi Oluwasina. It will be shown in the cinemas.
