Shortly after Nigerian music legend Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, proposed to Natasha Osawaru, a leaked screenshot allegedly from an unidentified source surfaced online, claiming she has a history of drug addiction.
The controversial claims have reignited discussions surrounding 2Baba’s past, with speculation resurfacing about his alleged ties to drug use.
During his divorce saga with Annie Idibia, rumours circulated that the singer’s ex-wife also struggled with drug addiction, a habit he was accused of introducing to her, which reportedly led to her violent behaviour. which he introduced her to which caused her violent behaviour.
The leaked conversation specifically accused Osawaru of being addicted to Pentazocine injections.

The chat also mentioned Osawaru’s ex-boyfriend who allegedly left her due to her substance abuse.

In response to these claims the unidentified receiver if the message wrote; “So from one addict to the next. Its well.”
Following the leaked chat, another video allegedly showing Osawaru exhibiting symptoms of drug addiction surfaced online, further fueling speculations.

Meanwhile, TheRadar earlier reported that Nigerian singer and songwriter Inetimi Alfred Odon, popularly known as Timaya, revealed that he had a drug addiction that almost ruined his life.
He said this during a radio interview with Beat FM in February 2024. He disclosed that he is not a saint and has suffered from a molly addiction during the coronavirus era in 2020.
