Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, is one of Nigeria's most celebrated music icons. However, his personal life, particularly his relationships with women, has often captured public attention. 

With a total of seven children from three different women, 2Baba's family dynamics are as intriguing as his musical career. 

His reputation has earned him the “Father of all nations” title from fans and TheRadar compiled a detailed overview of 2Baba's baby mamas, their children, and how their relationships ended.

1. Sunmbo Adeoye 

Sumbo Ajaba now Adeoye was 2Baba's first baby mama with whom he had a long-term relationship before they parted ways. Their bond initially blossomed during their university days at Yaba College of Technology. 

She was 24 years old when she got pregnant with their first child, Nino Idibia. 

Their relationship was altered after 2baba had another child outside their union with Pero. However, Sumbo went back to 2Baba. 

In an Instagram live session, she revealed how she was influenced by friends to have a second child—Zion Idibia in 2008, hoping it would lead to marriage. However, this did not happen.

The pair separated in 2009 amidst revelations of 2Baba's relationships with other women, which left Sumbo feeling heartbroken.

After parting ways with 2Baba, Sumbo went on to marry Pastor Adeoye, the General Overseer and Senior Pastor of Royalty Christian Centre. The couple have two children together. She has embraced her role as a supportive partner, continuing to raise her children while advocating for young women to learn from her experiences. 

 2. Pero Adeniyi

Pero Adeniyi entered 2Baba’s life while he was still involved with Sumbo. Their relationship lasted over seven years and was marked by intense passion as well as significant drama, including a public dispute with 2Baba's wife, Annie Macaulay Idibia.

Although Pero gave birth to three children— Ehi Idibia (2006), Innocent Junior (2012), and Justin (2013), the relationship endured complications as 2Baba rekindled ties with Annie, leading to a dynamic that often erupted into public feuds.

Despite the turmoil, Pero has maintained a relatively low profile since her split with 2Baba. She focuses on raising her children and pursuing her interests away from the media spotlight.

Pero has moved on to a new chapter in her life. She is currently in a relationship with Olasunkanmi Akande, the CEO of Lavish by Michelle Events in Lagos. Although there has not been any confirmation of the duo being officially married, Pero doesn't shy away from showcasing her new life with her billionaire husband on social media.

3. Annie Macaulay Idibia

Annie Idibia, who had been in 2Baba's life before Pero and Sunmbo Adeoye, became his third baby mama after the couple welcomed Isabella in 2008.

Their relationship started in early 2000 when she was 15 and became official after the artiste serenaded her with his hit song African Queen. 

Annie Macaulay officially became 2Baba’s wife in 2012, solidifying a relationship that had its ups and downs even before their marriage. Four years after she had her first daughter, Isabella, Annie gave birth to Olivia in 2014. 

The marriage faced strains due to 2Baba’s past relationships and children, but despite the challenges, Annie remained committed to her family. 

The couple renewed their wedding vows in 2022 as Idibia proposed another 10 years, however, less than three years after their vow renewal, 2Baba announced their divorce sending shockwaves on the internet. 

Despite their efforts to make their relationship work, it seems the couple has reached the end of the road.

Rumours are circulating that Annie Idibia has allegedly been checked into rehab amid the divorce announcement, leaving fans questioning the state of their health.

Meanwhile, TheRadar earlier reported that Jada Pollock, the baby mama and manager to Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, hinted at the arrival of their first daughter and third child together. 

Her post comes amid the social media speculations about the birth of the baby sparked by Wizkid’s post. 

Wizkid tweeted about missing his princess, which led to congratulatory messages from fans, who speculated that Jada had given birth.
