- Love at first sight - Early 2000s
Legendary Afrobeats star Tuface and Annie Idibia reportedly first set eyes on each other at Even Extra Music Studio in the early 2000s. There, the couple Tuface, 24, and Annie, 15, at the time found love. Annie never fails to mention how Tuface was her first love from that moment.
- Sailing the ship — (2004)
Annie and Tuface kicked off their relationship as friends but had started dating officially by the time they shot the African Queen music video in 2004. During the time, Tuface, in an interview revealed that they were together.
- Baby mamas saga — (2008, 2012)
This phase of their relationship saw the breakups and make-ups of the couple. Word got out that Tuface had impregnated two different women (baby mamas), Pero Adeniyi and Sumbo Ajala.
