From Rom-coms to thrillers, dramas, comedy, horror and more, October in Nollywood is set to keep you at the edge of your seats. 

It's eight days already into October and TheRadar has ompiled a list of Nollywood titles to watch out for this month as it counts down to help you relax, learn and unwind. 

  • Smart Money Woman - October 10 

Smart Money Woman is a Nollywood series adapted from a book of the same title by bestselling author, Arese Ugwu. If you have a hack for themes around true friendship, women's financial independence and sisterhood, you don't want to miss this one. The first season premiered in 2021 on Netflix and on October 10, 2024, the second season will be out. Directed by Wande Thomas and Bunmi Ajakaiye, the series features star-studded appearances from Timini Egbuson, Osas Ighodaro, Toni Tones, Tobi Bakre and many others. 

  • A Night in 2005 - October 11 

Written and directed by Ted Abudu, A Night in 2005 is set to hit the cinemas on October 11. The film, which Ted Abudu described as “an epic drama of love, friendship and family” unveiled its casts as Bimbo Akintola, Ireti Doyle, Ini-Dinma Okojie, Teniola Aladese, amongst others. 

  • Inside Life - October 11 

Here, Clarence Peters aims to make his debut attempt at a feature film, Inside Life, from being a music video director. The upcoming TV series will premiere on Netflix on October 11. The series is a supernatural drama about the lives of Nigerians living in an unpredictable country. It captures the day-to-day realities of Nigerians. Popular faces like Jide Kosoko, Gabriel Afolayan and Zack Orji feature in the film. 

  • 3 Working Days - October 18 

The cast members of 3 Working Days include Uzor Arukwe, Nancy Isime, and Deyemi Okanlawon who delivered another hit movie from Jerry Ossai, known for his film Breath of Life.

  • Soft Love - October 25 

Soft Love, a Nollywood title comes from the producers of the award-winning film, Breath of Life. It takes on a cross-cultural romantic journey that explores love, identity and the complexities of relationships. It will premiere on October 25, exclusively on Amazon Prime Video.

Lateef Adedimeji set to release Netflix original biopic, ‘Lisabi’ [PHOTOS] 

TheRadar earlier reported that exploring the escapades of a historic Egba warrior, Nigerian actor and filmmaker Lateef Adedimeji is set to release his anticipated film, Lisabi: The Uprising, on September 27. 

The biopic film, with over 2000 cast members, is said to be a means of cultural preservation and history, particularly to the Egba people of Abeokuta.
