- Lisabi: A Legend is Born
Following the release of the first part of his biopic film Lisabi: The Uprising, Nollywood actor Lateef Adedimeji has finally released the second part of the epic film Lisabi: A Legend is Born.
The new film is currently showing on Netflix. It explores the escapades of a historic Egba warrior and is the first-ever traditional film by the Nollywood actor.
- Reel Love
Taking his first-ever cinema attempt, Nollywood actor Timini Egbuson, known for his lover role, brings Reel Love. The Romance Comedy film is set to hit the cinemas on Valentine's Day on February 14, 2025.
Aside from Timini, who plays lead, Reel Love features appearances from Bimbo Ademoye, Funke Akindele, and Efa Iwara amongst others.
- King Of Boys Sequel
King of Boys is a popular Nollywood franchise by ace Nollywood director Kemi Adetiba. In a recent post, the director who had directed parts one and two, disclosed plans to bring back the sequel of the film. It is one anticipated title to look out for in 2025. The official date is yet to be announced.
- Summer Rain
Summer Rain is a new title from the Nollywood actress Bolaji Ogunmola. The Romance Comedy title features a lovey-dovey romance between Bolaji and Etim Effiong as leads.
Summer Rain will be available in cinemas across Nigeria starting on February 7, 2025. It also features Genoveva Umeh, Lateef Adedimeji, Tina Mba and Femi Branch. It is directed by Adenike Adebayo-Esho.
- Owambe Thieves
As a follow-up to her blockbuster first cinema baby Beasts of Two Worlds, Nollywood actress Eniola Ajao had geared anticipation for her upcoming film Owambe Thieves.
The film is scheduled to hit cinemas during the Easter period and will be the second cinema project of the actress. It is a film in partnership with Film One Production and Lighthouse Pictures. It is directed by the ace director Adeoluwa Owu.
