Countries you can freely visit with your Nigerian passport

Here are the countries Nigerians can visit visa-free.

1. Barbados

This island country is located in the south-eastern Caribbean Sea with a population of 281,635 as of 2022, according to Worldometer. Being an island, it is a vacation hotspot for many people as there are many fun sights to see and things to do

2. Benin

This is a country in West Africa with a population of 13.7 million. They were formerly known as Dahomey. Their languages include French, Fon, Yom, Yoruba, Gun, Baatonum, Biali, Dendi and Fulfulde.

3. Burkina Faso

This country is located in West Africa and is a former French colony, with a population of 23.6 million. 

4. Burundi

This country is situated in the eastern part of Africa and is considered one of the poorest nations. It is populated by 11.8 million people who speak three major languages; Kirundi, French and English. 

5. Cambodia

This is a southeast Asian country with a population of 16.7 million. Their language is Khmer and is also considered one of the world’s poorest country as most of its workforce are into subsistence farming. 

6. Cameroon

This is a Central African country with a population of 29.3 million. Cameroonians speak French, English, Cameroonian Pidgin English, Fula, Ewondo, Chadian Arabic, Camfranglais. 

7. Cape Verde Islands

This Island country is located in the North Atlantic Ocean. With a population of 561,900, citizens of this country speak Portuguese and Cape Verdean Creole. 

8. Chad

This country is located in the western part of African and is a semi-desert country. It has a population of 17.9 million people who speak French and Arabic.

9. Comoro Islands

10. Cook Islands

15. Fiji

27. Mauritania
