Nigeria singer and former Big Brother Naija housemate, Olamilekan Agbeseshebiona, popularly known as Laycon, has called popular disk jockey DJ Neptune over the non-payment of royalties on Nobody Icons remix.

Laycon, who won the BBNaija season 5 edition, claimed that DJ Neptune has delayed the payment for four years. 

In an X (formerly Twitter) post on August 21, Laycon tagged DJ Neptune and asked him about their agreement on the song they worked on together alongside Joeboy in 2020. 

He wrote:

Abeg o! @deejayneptune how far my agreement and split for the “Nobody (Icons Remix) faq” song though. Is it not still ready?haba it’s been 4 years o“ 

Laycon is a singer and songwriter, who participated in the Big Brother Naija season five and won the grand prize. He is currently the youth ambassador of Ogun State, his origin. In 2022, he became a member of the Grammy Recording Academy voting committee. 

Meanwhile, as of the time of this report, DJ Neptune was yet to respond to the allegations despite the social media buzz.

Following his post, it has generated mixed feelings on social media. Some asked why it took him so long to talk about it. Some mentioned that the call-out was a first time and might have been serious.

I have not been with PSquare for 8 years - Jude Okoye denies fraudulent allegations

Earlier, TheRadar reported that Jude Okoye, former manager and elder of the PSquare duo, denied fraudulent allegations levelled against him by his brother, Peter Okoye. 

These allegations were raised by Peter Okoye over claims that Jude created a secret music company where he (Jude) siphoned part of PSquare royalties.
