Social media activist and influencer Martins Ortse, popularly known as VeryDarKMan, has called out Veteran actress Iyabo Ojo for extending her congratulations to Musiliu Akinsanya, known as MC Oluomo.
MC Oluomo was recently appointed the National President of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) on Monday, November 11, 2024.
During the heat of the 2023 elections in Nigeria, Iyabo Ojo had earlier referred to MC Oluomo as a ‘thug’, and this attracted a clapback from her colleague, Dayo Amusa.
On Wednesday, November 13, Iyabo Ojo shared a picture of MC Oluomo on her official Instagram page and congratulated him on his latest appointment.
“Congratulations on your newly elected appointment as the President of NURTW. I wish you a long and prosperous tenure filled with good health, happiness and continued success. May you excel in all your endeavours and achieve greater heights. Once again, congratulations! @kingmcOluomo,” she wrote.
Responding to Iyabo’s post, VeryDarkMan, in a video on his page, criticised her attempt, which he said he saw coming.
“Ah, I hear say Queen mother don go back to dey hail thug as expected. The truth be say you people that are shading Iyabo Ojo for being a hypocrite should stop it.
“She is trying to secure the father of the day for her daughter’s wedding. You know Wetin e mean say dem use MC Oluomo do chairman of the day? You know the kind funds now Wey e don be NURTW president?
“She had to go back. Now she is back. “If you cannot beat them, you will definitely join them, and that is the role that most of these influencers and celebrities play in Nigeria,” VeryDarKMan said, among other things, in his video.
