Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke, widely known as Davido, has finally acknowledged the inevitable changes that come with ageing, recently revealing the reason behind his reflections. 

The 31-year-old singer reminisced on the days when partying was a regular lifestyle, and he used to be full of life to always go out.

In an InstaStory video that went viral on Wednesday, November 13, the Unavailable crooner admitted that he was truly getting old and explained why he felt that way. 

According to Davido, sleep is the only thing he wants to do after a flight for a show, against his usual urge to party, and for him, this speaks volumes about his ageing. 

Yea, I've finally agreed that, yea, I'm getting old, man. I'm getting old. Old! Normally, when we land for gigs or shows. Like if you land like a day before, and no matter the time you land, you are going out or popping out no matter what the promoter is doing. These days, I just want to sleep.” he expressed in the video.
