Hilda Baci apologises, offers N50,000 food voucher to customer who criticised her pepper soup

Hilda Baci, the owner of MyFoodbyHilda and one-time holder of Guinness World Record, has publicly apologised to Omotayo Zinnat, the customer who recently criticised her establishment over a N6,000 pepper soup that failed to meet her expectations. 

In a statement on Omotayo's TikTok post, Hilda Baci acknowledged her complaints and validated her feedback. 

She apologised for the disappointment caused and said, "Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and I'd like to sincerely apologize for the disappointment you experienced with your recent order from MyFoodbyHilda."

The celebrity chef further expressed her commitment to consistently delivering high-quality food and regretted that her establishment fell short in Omotayo's case. As a gesture of goodwill, she offered Omotayo a N50,000 food voucher, which she can use at her convenience. 

“It's our mission to consistently deliver the best, and I deeply regret that we fell short this time. Your feedback is valid and appreciated, as it helps us improve. To make things right, I'd like to offer you a meal voucher worth ₦50,000, which you can use at your convenience. Kindly share your name and email address, so we can arrange this for you promptly."

Omotayo has since accepted the apology and thanked Hilda Baci for her prompt response and compensation that she saw quite late in a publicised video.  

She said: "I just want to say a very big thank you to Hilda Baci for reaching out to me and for acknowledging my complaints and making them valid." 

Omotayo also apologised for any inconvenience her initial criticism may have caused, noting that she didn't expect her video to gain as much attention as it did.
