Controversial social media blog Gistlover has named Hilda Baci, Dakore Akande, Idi Edo and other female celebrities as the alleged side chicks of Nigeria's senate president, Senator Godswill Akpabio.
This is coming after a women group, FLEADERS Nigeria, demanded an apology from the senate president over his sexist remark towards a female lawmaker representing Kogi Central in the senate, Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan.
Akpabio had addressed the senator, saying that the Senate chamber was not a nightclub and she must be recognised before speaking during plenary.
Gistlover, to support its allegations, then posted the personal contact information of the senate president, his wife and alleged side chicks, while demanding an apology from the senator.
The blogger further threatened to expose the senate president’s misappropriation of funds and how he sponsors the lavish lifestyle of his alleged previous and current side-chicks if an apology was not tendered by Akpabio.
It then revealed the identities of the alleged side chicks, both exes and the alleged current ones. The blogger posted the picture of popular Nollywood actresses like Nancy Isime, Ini Edo, Dakore Akande and Hilda Baci, a former Guinness World Record holder and others.
The blogger also revealed in an Instagram post that the senate president has been funding the lifestyle of the celebrities he posted, claiming that the reason he can talk a woman down is because of his affair with popular celebrities.
Additionally, Gistlover alleged that the senate president has a doctor who checks his side pieces for HIV and other STDs before he has an affair with them.
While some of the women accused by Gistlover have come out to deny the allegations, others like Ini Edo have been silent.
Nigerians react to the allegations against Akpabio
Nigerians have reacted to the allegations on social media. While some don’t believe the blogger, others have since began to troll the celebrities, calling them unprintable names.
