  • It is two weeks since Seyi Vibez released his EP Children of Africa in his usual surprise attempts  
  • The EP, which has been on a charting spree has recorded another milestone 
  • Songs off the EP made debut entries on the Billboard Afrobeats Songs chart 

In addition to his charting spree, Afrobeats singer Seyi Vinez has recorded debut entries on the Billboard U.S Afrobeats songs chart this week. 

The 24-year-old singer recently released his surprise Extended Play (EP) Children of Africa, stirring debate and conversations. 

In an X (formerly Twitter) post on Tuesday, March 4, all songs off Seyi Vibez’s Children of Africa were announced by Album Talks to make debut entries on the Billboard songs chart.

Seyi Vibez’s debuts all songs from "Children of Africa" on the Billboard U.S Afrobeats songs chart this week,” the caption read. 

Meanwhile, Children of Africa EP also debuted at number 8, on the Billboard World Albums chart. This made it Seyi Vibez’s biggest charting project surpassing his NAHAMciaga project. 

‘Children of Africa’ songs and debut spots on Billboard chart 

Shaolin, the third track off Seyi Vibez’s Children of Africa EP debuted on the number six spot on the Billboard Afrobeats songs chart. 

It is closely followed by his first track, Mario Kart, which ranked at number seven on the chart. Seyi Vibez’s fourth and last song off the EP, Happy Song, found home on the number nine spot of the global songs chart. 

Teaming up with NLE Choppa on Macho, Seyi Vibez’s second track off the Children of Africa EP also takes the number ten position on the Billboard Afrobeats chart table. 

Top songs of 2024: Seyi Vibez’s ‘Different Pattern’ leads pack on Apple Music NG 

Meanwhile, TheRadar earlier reported that Different Pattern by Nigerian singer Balogun Oluwaloseyi, popularly known as Seyi Vibez, emerged as the most streamed song in 2024.

The 24-year-old singer led the pack of Top Songs of 2024 curated by Apple Music Nigeria alongside Omah Lay, Shalipopi and others.
