Tunji Balogun popularly known as Teebillz, a media personality and ex-husband of Tiwa Savage, has publicly apologised to Toke Makinwa for his previous statements regarding her comments on 2Baba and Annie Idibia's divorce announcement.
The apology came during a live Instagram session with Daddy Freeze where he shared his opinion on 2Baba's divorce controversy and cleared the air from the initial misconception of his previous post.
Teebillz explained during the live session with Daddy Freeze that he was triggered by Toke's criticism of 2Baba, stating that family feuds are best left unresolved and that separation can sometimes be the best solution for healing and reworking marriages.
He said, "I would like to publicly apologise to Toke. I think my message was misconstrued because, at the end of the day, we are all family. You see, this feminist thing is getting out of hand."
He added, “My question is where were you a month ago? Where were you two months ago, or a year ago? When they started this reality show, I have not watched it because I know these people and I know there is nothing that comes out of it.
“The producers, executive producers and the platforms just want to prey on people's flaws, to make content, so it is either you are smart going into this and understanding what you are going there for and not play with your real life."
He also expressed how this controversy could be a blessing in disguise for both Annie and 2Baba as they separately fix themselves. Citing the probability of them coming back together, hence why a third party's opinion was not necessary.
“When I saw it the thing I did was pray for the couples and what is going on right now is blessing in disguise for the both of them. It is for Annie to go work on herself and fix herself and for 2baba.
“They might come back together who knows. Who are we to choose sides is my problem with Toke, and you cannot judge anyone how they express what they have been bottling for years.
When it comes to family feud no one wins, all we can do is pray.”
He shared his personal experience with divorce from Tiwa Savage, emphasising the importance of giving credit to women and acknowledging the challenges of navigating the entertainment industry. "I gave everything to Tiwa Savage, but the problem we had was the entertainment world, It is a devil's world.”
Teebillz went on to express his views on how people judge others based on personal struggles, adding,
"You can't judge anyhow how they express themselves with something they've bottled for years. You can't come out to say 'I am ashamed for you.”
He concluded by expressing the importance of giving credit to women, saying, "You have to give credit to the women. Every time wey I dey fight for Tiwa, people think I am mad; that's the mother of my child. When I see my child doing well, I am happy and that's because of Tiwa."

Just you know they brought this to SM,”
@glamkemzy commented: “Toke never said anything bad; you have beef with Toke cos she was your ex wife friend. It's okay for couple to divorce or separate but coming to SM at that time when everyone is dragging your wife? common now, any sensible man will protect his wife from outside humiliation, we don't care what's happening internally in your home but outside you protect each other!!!”
