As 2025 kicks off, several prophecies have emerged from popular Nigerian pastors. Some have shared their vision for what the year holds for Nigerians. Others drew believers by the ear with stern warnings to desist from certain carnal acts. 

These men of God made their 2025 declarations and prophecies through the platform of their crossover services—where many expectant Nigerians usually gather to end the year.

2025 prophecies by Nigerian pastors 

Pastor Enoch Adeboye — RCCG 

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Enoch Adeboye, is one of the popular men of God who annually shares prophecies for a new year. 2025 is no different. 

  • He said 2025 will be a landmark year and a year nobody will ever forget.
  • He said earthly helpers would be replaced with heavenly ones 
  • This year, the cleric said that kickers would be louder and more aggressive, but unfortunately, many would not survive this year
  • Pastor Adeboye said in 2025, some towns and villages would shout victory at last
  • He said what people are waiting for will arrive this year. 

Bishop Oyedepo — Winners 

The lead pastor of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, Bishop David Oyedepo, also made some prophecies for 2025. 

  • He said 2025 is a year of a new beginning and a new dawn.
  • Oyedepo said 2025 is a year of a new era and great chapters in the lives of believers.
  • 2025, according to the popular pastor, is a year of new realms. 
  • He added that it is the prophet who has the power to make what God said a reality.
  • The cleric, however, said that an individual's faith determines whether it will come to pass. 

Dr. Daniel Olukoya — MFM 

The General Overseer of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM), Daniel Olukoya, rolled out prophecies for 2025. 

  • He said 2025 is a year of undeniable victory. 
  • Olukoya declared the year 2025 as one of Restoration and Divine intervention. 
  • The cleric said 2025 will bring significant breakthroughs, especially in marital success and fertility.
  • He also delivered a stern warning to married men engaging in promiscuity, advising them to desist because the "marine agents" have been sent to capture their souls.
  • The ultimate solution to live the year 2025 successfully is to connect to God’s power. 

Pastor Jerry Eze — Streams of Joy

The lead pastor of Streams of Joy, Pastor Jerry Eze, also released prophecies for his congregation and Nigerians. 

  • He said that this year, Nigerians would not carry any evil load and would rejoice over things that once made them cry.
  • He decreed speed for Nigerians to be internationally visible. 
  • He prophecies that creative ideas and solutions that no one ever has will rest upon Nigerians.
  • The pastor said 2025 is a year of miracles.
  • He added that this year, God would show Nigerians mercy. 

Pastor Kumuyi — Deeper Life 

The General Overseer of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor Williams Kumuyi, made his declarations for 2025. 

  • Kumuyi said that in 2025, the enemy will not determine the lives of God’s people.
  • He said that the name of Jesus will open closed doors for people in 2025.
  • He also declared that those who connect their name to that of Jesus would explode positively in 2025.
  • He said the year is one of all-round sufficiency. 
  • The pastor added that it is a year when believers will have the final say. 

Nigerians descend heavily on Pastor Adeboye and son over alleged N8b fraud case

Meanwhile, TheRadar earlier reported that many Nigerians expressed anger at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, especially at the general overseer who recently said the country's problems are spiritual and not political. 

The son of the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Adeolu Adeboye, and his wife were reportedly involved in an alleged fraud case. They had allegedly received N8 billion for a road construction project but only completed 30 per cent of the project.
