Pastor Daniel Olukoya, the General Overseer of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM), has called on believers around the world to deepen their spiritual connection with God as a key strategy to overcome the challenges that lie ahead in 2025.
Speaking during the church’s inter-denominational Cross Over/Prosperity Night service at Prayer City along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Olukoya declared the year 2025 as one of "restoration" and "divine intervention."
The renowned cleric emphasised the importance of “targeted prayers” and spiritual discernment, urging followers to seek a deeper understanding of life from God’s perspective in order to navigate the unique challenges the year will present.
According to Olukoya, 2025 will bring significant breakthroughs, especially in areas of marital success and fertility.
In his prophetic message, Olukoya expressed optimism for Nigeria and the global community, prophesying the emergence of transformative leaders who will bring about positive changes. He also delivered a stern warning to men engaging in adultery, advising them to guard against the influence of "marine agents" sent to capture souls.
Despite his optimistic outlook, Olukoya also cautioned of impending difficulties. He highlighted potential economic and political turbulence, as well as natural disasters such as massive floods and other weather disturbances.
He urged believers to intensify their prayers, asserting that the only solution to the adversities of 2025 is a strong connection to God’s power.
He declared, “The ultimate solution to live the year 2025 successfully is to connect to God’s power. You must know God personally this year and ensure your spiritual eyes are open to see things from God’s perspectives, the way God is seeing it.”
Olukoya also described 2025 as a year of “strange battles,” where adversaries would challenge the righteous, the oppressed would fight the free, and thieves would attempt to take what belongs to others.
However, he assured believers that God would intervene, scattering the plans of the enemies through divine interruptions.
For MFM, Olukoya prophesied that 2025 would be “the year of power and undeniable victories,” encouraging believers to stay grounded in faith, prayer, and spiritual vigilance throughout the year.
