Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, popularly known as Odumodublvck, has revealed his upcoming single ‘Halleluyah’ collaboration underway with Afrobeats indigenous rapper Phyno.
Odumodublvck did not reveal the release date of the collaborative track but shared a snippet of the track he described as a masterpiece.
Via his official X (formerly Twitter) page,
On Tuesday, September 3, Odumodublvck tweeted in appreciation and recognition of Phyno’s music prowess.
“I woke up today and I just feel like bugging up the playmaker. Phyno na soundman. When we are done with this record, I am dedicating this one to my late dad. I am leaving everything on the line. Everything. The machine is coming,” he wrote.
In another post, Odumodublvck, vibing to the song, expressed his excitement to have Phyno on his new single, Halleluyah, saying, “Ezege finish me with melody. I nearly cry tears of joy.”
If released, the track would be the debut collaboration between the rappers—Odumodublvck and Phyno. Odumodublvck is known for fusing Afrobeats with Drill and Grime music.
His style of drill also employs high-life-inspired melodies. The singer got into the limelight in 2022 after signing a record deal with NATIVE Records, in partnership with Def Jam.
