Nigeria rapper and singer Chibuzo Ezege, popularly known as Phyno, has teased his fans with a snippet of his new single, Hero.
Hero comes three days after the rapper mentioned his album was underway, which is yet to be titled or have a release date.
Via his official X(formerly Twitter) page, Phyno shared Hero on August 21, where he dropped lyrical bars in honour of some Igbo notable names like Nnamdi Kanu, Osadebe, Onyeka Owenu and Oliver De Coque.
Phyno shared the snippet with an emoji which could be connoted to mean ‘sing aloud, speak out or raise your voice’ as a caption.
With over 316,000 views and 700 comments, the track has got fans and colleagues talking on social media. Many hailing the legendary status of Phyno and his rap pen game.
Phyno who was born and raised in Enugu hails from Anambra State. The singer started his music journey as a producer in 2003. He is widely known for rapping in the Igbo language.
