The Canadian international’s contract with Bayern is set to expire at the end of the 2024/25 season, allowing him to negotiate a pre-contract agreement with foreign clubs starting January 1, 2025.
Davies, 24, has attracted interest from elite European clubs, including Barcelona and Real Madrid. Manchester United, however, appears less appealing to the player due to the club's current turmoil and absence from the Champions League, according to reports.
Sources close to Davies also suggested that these factors, coupled with United’s tight budget, make a move unlikely. Although a free transfer would save on a transfer fee, the player’s wages are expected to be significant.
