Seyi praises Tinubu, highlights achievements
In the video, he expressed frustration over ongoing criticism aimed at his family and his father.
“It was never politics, but they keep coming for me, they keep coming for my family, they keep coming for your father, they keep coming for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the greatest president in the history of Nigeria,” Seyi said.
He went on to praise his father’s leadership, emphasising his commitment to youth empowerment and economic development.
“He is the only president that has kept your people at home, from when he was governor to when he became president, the only president that considers youths, the only president that created a platform for young people to fly,” Seyi stated.
“The only president that created an economy that has benefitted everybody, the only president that is not trying to enrich his own pocket.”
The video sparked numerous reactions online, with many Nigerians expressing strong opinions about Seyi’s comments and the claims made regarding his father’s presidency.

Public reacts to Seyi Tinubu’s claims
“You're distributing rice to people who once farmed the food we all ate, but now can't even go to their farms without fear of being kidnapped or even beheaded. That alone speaks volumes about your father's cluelessness and incompetence. Look at how the very people who used to feed us are now celebrating over just five mudu of shared rice,” A.A Beli stated.
“Office of the FIRST SON OF NIGERIA dey sweet Ooooh. 😂 See as one small boy dey talk rubbish and elders are standing up, clapping and hailing him for a plate of rice without salad?” 9thwonder reacted.
“If you ask him to name just five positive contributions his father has made to the nation, he would be left speechless in embarrassment. Unfortunately, his gullible followers would still applaud his nonsense,” Ben Samuel added.
“The Northern Nigerian elites, stop making your region a mockery by using poverty as a weapon against your people. I pray that Allah will give you people the wisdom as he gave to your fellow Muslims brothers who has liberated their nations from poverty, Algeria, Egypt, Kosovo, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Malaysia, Maldives, Albania, Brunei, Kazakhstan, Tunisia, Indonesia, Iran, Oman, Turkey, and others. Northern Nigerians, why will this poverty, persist even though you have been at the helm of affairs in Nigeria for decades, this is not normal,” Amarachi Ochiawuto reacted.
“The only president that created a platform for youths to fly 😲 which platform for youths to fly... 😂 🤣 Fly to where? No be only una dey fly presidential jets up and down. Make una dey talk reality and stop being delusional ooo,” Timmy stated.
“This is a very delusional take from him but I don't expect otherwise. He is disconnected from the harsh realities facing Nigerians. His father's regime has implemented policies that have plunged millions into deeper poverty. These policies have triggered Nigeria’s worst cost-of-living crisis in nearly 30 years, with inflation soaring, food prices skyrocketing and unemployment remaining stubbornly high. The promise to redirect saved subsidy funds to infrastructure and public welfare has been met with opacity and inaction, leaving Nigerians to bear the brunt of these reforms without tangible benefits.
“Insecurity under Tinubu’s regime have increased.
Labeling Bola Tinubu as Nigeria’s ‘greatest president’ is a GROSS MISREPRESENTATION of history and reality. But who will blame Seyi? He's a direct beneficiary of all the ills of his father, so he think he can come out and talk rubbish to us. But we will shock him and his family come 2027,” Oke Umurhohwo stated.
“This guy sabi lie sha!!! @STinubu why are you lying, great what??? Greatest criminal president in Nigerian history more like!!!” #RevolutionNow reacted.
