Seyi Tinubu, the son of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has continued to face criticism following a viral video where he addressed a gathering of youths in Yola, Adamawa State, in which he referred to his father as “the greatest president in the history of Nigeria.”
In the video which surfaced on Monday, March 17, Seyi’s tone and delivery were likened to Musiliu Akinsanya, also known as MC Oluomo, the Lagos transport union leader.

Seyi emphasised that his father had improved the country's economy and led Nigeria without personal gain in the video.
He also noted his father’s focus on youth empowerment and economic growth, but the controversial style of his speech became a focal point of online reactions.
However, his speech quickly sparked criticism, with some social media users pointing to his style of speaking as reminiscent of a more informal, streetwise tone.
An X user (formerly Twitter), Rinu Oduala expressed disapproval, saying, "Make president son dey sound like MC Oluomo. Na wa."
