Comrade Ologe John Oluwatobiloba, popularly known as Bosco and an aspirant for the position of National President of the National Association of University Students (NAUS), has extended warm felicitations to Muslim students across Nigerian universities as they celebrate Eid al-Fitr, marking the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan.
In a goodwill message released on the occasion, Bosco described Eid al-Fitr as a significant period of reflection, gratitude and renewed commitment to enduring values such as discipline, sacrifice and compassion. He emphasised that the lessons learnt during Ramadan should not be confined to the fasting period alone, but should instead serve as guiding principles in students’ daily lives and leadership endeavours.
According to him, these values are critical in shaping responsible leadership and fostering unity within the student community, particularly at a time when collective action and cooperation are needed to address common challenges facing Nigerian students.
Bosco further urged students across institutions to embrace the spirit of peace, tolerance and togetherness that defines the Eid celebration. He encouraged them to remain steadfast in their pursuit of academic excellence while also engaging meaningfully in activities that promote personal growth and societal development.
Reaffirming his vision for a united and progressive student movement, Bosco expressed optimism about the future of Nigerian students. He also offered prayers for continued peace, prosperity and advancement, noting that the blessings of the season should inspire hope and a renewed sense of purpose among young people.
The message concluded with a heartfelt “Eid Mubarak” to all Muslim faithful, alongside best wishes for a brighter and more prosperous future.
The statement was issued by the Revamped Era Movement Media Team.
