As the year continues to see popular celebrities marry and propose to their heartthrobs, Nigerian singer Yhemolee has finally joined the moving train.
The singer took the bold step to propose to his long-time girlfriend, identified as Thayour B, ahead of their wedding on August 31st. This is coming weeks after their ‘Aso-Ebi’ went viral on social media.
Via his X page (formerly Twitter), on July 25, Yhemolee shared the proposal video clip that captured the moment he fell on his bent knee to propose to Thayour, whom he has been dating since 2018.
The video accompanied by John Legend’s popular song ‘All of me’ saw Yhemolee, holding Thayour’s hands as he expressed his feelings. Thayour blushed with a smile.
His caption, alongside an ‘in love’ emoji, read, “It's about time. I have a wedding to plan.”
Yhemolee and Thayour B were said to have had a messy break-up in 2023 when Thayour allegedly found private tapes of her friend on Yhemolee's phone. However, in January, the couple came back together after Yhemolee openly apologised to her.
