  • Netizens reacted with scepticism, questioning the authenticity of Lil Smart's claims
  • A counter video emerged, showing Zinoleesky getting out of a car and being spotted by a fan

Nigerian dancer Lil Smart has shared video evidence alleging that Naira Marley and Zinoleesky assaulted him.

The controversy began earlier in December when Lil Smart accused Zinoleesky and Naira Marley of assault and kidnapping. The allegations led to widespread speculation about Zinoleesky's involvement in the death of Mobad.

Lil Smart had earlier vowed that the world would see if he gets justice or not following his allegations of assault and kidnapping against Zinoleesky and Naira Marley.

However, a new twist emerged when Lil Smart was accused of receiving 1 million naira from a public critic, Very Dark Man, who attempted to intervene in the matter.

The release of the video evidence has ignited an uproar among netizens, with many questioning the authenticity of Lil Smart's claims. Some have pointed out inconsistencies in his story, including a counter video that appears to show Zinoleesky getting out of a car and being spotted by a fan.

The counter video has raised more questions than answers, with many wondering why Zinoleesky got out of the car and what his intentions were.

In a recent development, Lil Smart made a video recounting his harrowing experience and seeking justice. He revealed that he had been threatened by VeryDarkMan, who initially offered to help him.

Lil Smart expressed his frustration, stating that his life is at risk and that he is mentally stressed. He announced that he no longer wishes to pursue the case and only desires to be safe. Although he appreciated Very Dark Man's N1 million donation to support his case, he stated that he feels overwhelmed.

Subsequently, VeryDarkMan responded by sharing evidence of Lil Smart's lawyer's proposed resolution to Naira Marley's management, seeking an end to the issue, a public apology, a non-pursuit of legal action, and closure with confidentiality.

He accused Lil Smart of using the situation for clout, even monetizing the situation with his Instagram post by promoting people's products for his over 200,000 views. VDM urged Nigerians to demand justice, adding that Lil Smart should be held accountable for allegedly lying and creating a false narrative.

As the debate rages on, netizens remain divided, with some defending Lil Smart's account and others dismissing it as fabricated

Meanwhile, Zinoleesky appears to be focusing on his music career, announcing plans to release a new single titled "Free Me from Hate." The song's theme seems to resonate with his current situation as he navigates the backlash from Lil Smart's allegations.

Netizens react to the saga

The comment section has been a battleground, with netizens reacting with a mix of humour, aggression, and confusion. The debate has been intense, with some defending VeryDarkMan, others supporting Lil Smart, and many more stuck in the middle, unsure of whom to believe. The drama has unfolded like an epic Christmas special, leaving everyone entertained and invested in the outcome.

Speed Darlington might spend Christmas, New Year in detention —VeryDarkMan

Meanwhile, TheRadar earlier reported that popular social media activist Martins Ortse, popularly known as VeryDarKMan, revealed that controversial singer Speed Darlington might spend the Christmas and New Year holidays in detention

Speed Darlington has been in and out of police detention over alleged defamation of Afrobeats singer Burna Boy, and after regaining freedom, was rearrested two weeks ago for allegedly jumping bail over his defamation saga with Burna Boy. Still in detention, his lawyer had earlier accused the police of refusing to release the singer.
