Following the recently unveiled nominations list for the 17th edition of the Headies Awards, Afrobeats singer Divine Ikubor known as Rema has emerged as the most nominated artiste.
Rema secured a total of nine nomination spots across all categories of the Headies Awards to have the highest number of nominations.
The 24-year-old singer is closely followed by his colleague and label mate, Ayra Starr, who secured eight nominations in total.
Still in the heat of the Headies nominations and conversations, TheRadar curated a list of the most nominated artistes for 17th edition of the upcoming award ceremony.
Works of artistes and songs recognised on the nomination list were compiled from April 1, 2023, to July 31, 2024. The award ceremony will be held on April 5, 2025.

Coming closely behind Rema, Afrobeats sensation Ayra Starr is among the most nominated acts for the 2024 edition of the Headies Award. She was nominated for:

- Best Vocal Performance (Female)
- Artiste of the Year
- Album of the Year
- Digital Artiste of the Year
- Afrobeats Album of the Year
- Song of the Year
Odumodublvck — eight nominations
31-year-old Nigerian singer and rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu known as Odumodublack was also nominated in eight categories for the 17th edition of the Headies. This makes a tie between him and Ayra Starr. He got nominated for:

Davido — six nominations
