The organisers of The Honest Bunch Podcast, Glitch Africa Studios have distanced themselves from the ongoing controversy involving VeryDarkMan and ex-Big Brother Naija's housemate, Deeone.
In an episode of the Honest Bunch Podcast, Deeone stirred controversy online after he allegedly claimed that Martins Ortse known as VeryDarkMan was into men amongst other allegations.
According to Deeone, VeryDarkMan was devious and he also suggested that VeryDarkMan presented a false identity.
Via its official Instagram page, on Thursday, February 13, the popular podcast platform addressed the ongoing controversy and reinstated its commitment towards amplifying African voices.

The podcast platform went further to highlight some of the personalities it has featured on its show and how it takes caution in assessing meaningful conversations.
According to the Organisers through the statement, they do not influence the opinions of their speakers as everyone who came spoke on their own will.

The Honest Bunch Podcast stands against defamatory conduct
The statement clarified its stance on bullying or defamatory conduct as they ensure open dialogues and healthy debate.
“We believe in fostering an environment that upholds free speech, open dialogue, and healthy debate while strongly opposing any form of bullying, harassment, or defamatory conduct.
If any party feels aggrieved by the content or interactions featured on our shows, we encourage them to pursue legal or appropriate channels to address their concerns.” it added.

Meanwhile, TheRadar earlier reported that music producer Samklef accused VeryDarkMan of being biased and losing his integrity, particularly in his criticism of Burna Boy and Wizkid.
He claimed that VeryDarkMan lied about the 180 million naira prank after dismissing it by calling Nigerians dumb. He further declared his interest in taking up Lil Smart's case.
