- Nollywood actor Yomi Fabiyi, during the conferenc,e accused Mohbad’s younger Adura Aloba of conspiracy
- The actor alleged that Adura demanded N3 million to release video evidence to aid his brother’s case
Nollywood actor Yomi Fabiyi has raised fresh allegations accusing late Mohbad’s younger brother Adura Aloba of demanding N3 million to release a video evidence he had in his possession.
The allegation comes a day after Mohbad’s father, in an interview, admitted that his life got better after the death of his son, Mohbad.
In a recent video that surfaced on Thursday, January 16, Yomi alleged that Adura claimed he had a video recording that captured the moment Mohbad fell off the stairs and broke his neck.
According to Yomi, Adura also claimed that the incident happened during a heated argument between the late Mohbad and his wife, Wunmi.
The actor also noted that Adura convinced him that the fall could have been linked to the bent neck of the singer as captured during his first burial.
Meanwhile, these allegations were brought up during a World Press Conference recently organised to seek justice for the late singer. It was organised by the Break The Silence Foundation.
Yomi Fabiyi’s allegations
“At about 4:30pm, Mohbad’s younger brother Adura Aloba had sent me a DM after listening to me for a while and reacting in the comment section. When he realised I may not check my DM on time, he wrote in the comment section asking that I check my DM.
“Lo and behold he offered to give me a video of a fight that ensued between the late singer Mohbad and his wife Cynthia. He demanded N3 million.
“He went further to convince me by narrating how the fight between his brother and his wife resulted in Mohbad falling off the stairs and hitting his head to the floor. Something that can equally be linked to the bent neck in the casket.
“The conversation went on for a while with me playing along and requesting to see the video evidence. He requested my email and shared a 3 second partly censored image to me. When I downloaded it, I previewed it and there was a violent argument in the video. I probed further for longer uncensored images and the conversation got stuck at that point.”
“We don't want elaborate remembrance celebration,” Late Mohbad’s mother appeals to Nigerians

Mohbad, who reportedly died on September 12, 2023, would officially mark one year since his demise, and fans seem to look forward to the day to honour the late singer.
