- Recently, Nollywood actor Yomi Fabiyi accused Mohbad’s younger brother of demanding money from him
- Yomi claimed the money was demenadex in exchange for a video evidence on what caused Mohabd’s death
- Mohbad’s brother Adura Aloba has finally responded to the allegations
Adura Aloba, Mohbad’s younger brother has finally responded to the allegations levied against him by Nollywood actor Yomi Fabiyi in Mohbad’s case.
Yomi Fabiyi had accused Adura of demanding N3 million from him to release evidence about the cause of his brother’s death.
In a recent video from the Justice for Mohbad press conference, on Thursday, January 16, that captured Adura sharing his part of the story, Mohbad’s younger brother denied the allegations.
According to Adura, the said video was recorded by his brother three years ago and he claimed that he was not the one that reached out to Yomi.
“Firstly, I don't have much to say. So, all these things are in court already. I can not know what killed my elder brother and keep quiet about it. This is surprising to me.
In regards to the said video, it is like three years ago. It is not me who made the video. It is Mohbad, who made the video on the phone I sold to Damola. It is not me who chatted with Mr Yomi. The court invited him to find out who was chatting with him but he is still insisting on TikTok that it is me,” Adura said.
Adura clarified that the video was on a phone he sold to a friend called Damola. He said that when he heard that Mr Yomi was accusing him of demanding the money, he reported to the police to narrate what happened.
Mohbad’s younger brother further said that despite the police involvement in clarifying the issue, Yomi is still insisting that it was he (Adura) who demanded the money from him.
