A Nigerian lady, identified as Stella Johnson recently came forward to set the record straight by sharing her story of being pregnant with the child of Afrobeats sensational singer, Burna Boy.
Stella, who shared the challenges she faced in their relationship from 2013 to 2016, reflected on the past moments with the singer.
In a Tmypodcast interview, on September 8, that resurfaced on Wednesday, October 8, Stella revealed how she got pregnant for Burna Boy and recounted previous experiences with the Afrobeats singer.
She also revealed that she eventually lost the child due to a lack of support and acceptance from the singer and his family.
“We were in a relationship for three years. Things happened and it is normal for people in love for them to get pregnant. For me to get pregnant because I am a lady and I am fertile. So, yes, I got pregnant for Burna Boy.
When I was pregnant, the mother came and dismissed me. I was disappointed that a mother and a woman like me who knows what it takes to be pregnant dismissed me. Even knowing that I was bearing her grandchild.” Stella shared.
Burna Boy’s alleged claim of one-night stand
Reacting to the host's question on Burna Boy’s earlier claim that he only had intimacy with her once, Stella said she found that narrative surprising.
“That’s funny because we have been in a relationship for the past three years. So, is it the beginning, the middle or the last one that formed the baby? He knows the truth that we have been into each other so he claims that it was once, is really surprising to me.”
Stella explained that after she got pregnant, she fell into depression, pain and emotional trauma. She recalled telling Burna Boy about the pregnancy and he was happy about it before a sudden change and denial.
According to her, someone broke into her house at one point and this led her to move from one friend’s house to another because she was scared. “Out of all those struggles, I lost my child,” she revealed.
