Nigerian producer Udoma Kelvin, popularly known as Kel-P, has finally responded to his relationship with Burna Boy, which many assumed to have gone sour.
The producer is known for exclusively producing and co-writing Burna Boy’s Grammys-nominated album, African Giant in 2019.
Responding to questions about his relationship with Burna Boy on Friday, March 14, Kel-P noted that what happened between him and the superstar singer is how life works.
According to him, there is time for everything, and for their relationship it was probably time to move on, which is why they have not jumped on any project in recent times.
“We are chilling. We are grown men and we have the right to make our own decisions. I think sometimes the way life works, you have to know when it is time to be out of people’s lives or when it is time to be done with people.
“It's like you do something and when that thing gets you to a certain level, you take it up by yourself. You have to know when your time is done in people's lives. We have moved on. I guess we had played an impact on each other’s lives. If we come back again and everything aligns, then it is God’s timing,” Kel-P explained.
Notably, during the interview, Kel-P picked Burna Boy’s On Form track off the singer’s I Told Them album as one of his best 10 jams.
