- The Bribery and Corruption turned the defamation saga around Bobrisky and VeryDarkMan is no longer news
- VeryDarkMan recently revealed that the crossdresser was arrested on his way to Benin Republic, an alleged escape from the ongoing investigations
- VeryDarkMan asks Bobrisky to make a video to refute his (VeryDarKMan) claims if it was false
For the longest, investigations by the House of Representatives on the case of alleged bribery and corruption involving popular crossdresser Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, are still ongoing.
The allegations were raised earlier by social media influencer Martins Ortse, VeryDarkMan, who claimed Bobrisky bribed his way to evade his 6 months jail term.
The allegations spilt out to also reveal the alleged involvement of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS) in the case.
In a new Instagram video, on Monday, October 21st, VeryDarkMan revealed that he received a lead that the popular crossdresser, Bobrisky, has been arrested by operatives of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) at the Seme border while trying to escape to the Benin Republic
This comes on the heels of his (Bobrisky) scheduled appearance before the House of Reps on the allegations of bribery and corruption.
“As you all know. Our House of Reps matter don dey come up and then next thing, according to the reports, say Baba wan japa but Dem hold am. So, all those mouth Wey him dey make to confirm whether na true or lie, make Bobrisky go on live now. Or make him make video post just the way Wey him make video dey make noise. When I say you all gonna learn, you all will learn.
If the prison is involved in this. If the EFCC are involved in this and the names he mentioned in that video, we don give them respect enough. If person dey inside corruption, we go drop respect because Wetin we dey look for na the betterment of Nigeria.” he said.
VeryDarkMan called on the Nigeria Immigration Service to confirm or refute the news and inform Nigerians about the arrest of Bobrisky.
“Mind you, this thing may look like it's a witch hunt between Bobrisky and me but no. My problem is this, If the people that have been sentenced to go to prison don't go to prisons, it is a problem in Nigeria. If EFCC will be collecting money to drop charges, it is a very big problem in Nigeria.” VeryDarKMan added.
