Big Brother has placed all housemates on fasting in line with the week’s “Health and Wellness” theme. Big Brother recommended that housemates reduce their meals by limiting the amount of time the housemates can access the kitchen.
Big Brother issued this notice to the housemates on Tuesday, August 13. The housemates are granted access to the kitchen twice daily for two hours each time. They were instructed only to enter the kitchen when a certain sound played, and after the sound played for the second time, they no longer had access to the kitchen.
If the housemates flout the rules, they will lose 10 per cent of their wager for the week.
Big Brother also gave the housemates step counters and gave them the almost impossible task of completing 200,000 steps in two days. The housemates have employed various means to achieve their goals. Some have been step-dancing, shaking their hands repeatedly, and others have been simply waking to achieve their goal.

Some Nigerians believe it is impossible to fast and still do 200,000 steps in two days. Others are of the opinion that the inflation in the country has gotten to Big Brother and he wants to cut costs, hence the fasting.

The housemates had gathered in the garden in preparation for an Aquafina-sponsored task when the incident occurred on Tuesday August 13. Ozee and Fairme were having a conversation about suffering.
