Rema’s Calm Down featuring Selena Gomez made a historic milestone after hitting over one billion views on YouTube. It made Rema’s Calm Down the first Nigerian song to achieve the feat.

In 2024, Rema’s HEIS emerged as one of the most streamed albums in Sub-Saharan Africa following Spotify’s recent 2024 wrapped release for the year. The album’s success proved its acceptance across Africa.

In 2023, Rema entered the Guinness Book of Records. The Benin-born music star achieved the feat with his global hit song ‘Calm Down’ which made history as the First No.1 Hit on The Official MENA Chart (the world’s first regional streaming chart).

At the age of 23, Afrobeats sensation Rema took his 2023 concert to the O2 Arena in London. The singer became the youngest African act to sell out the space joining Burna Boy, Asake and Wizkid. The sold-out show was a testament to his global popularity.
