- Burna Boy - No Sign of Weakness
In July 2024, self-acclaimed Afrobeats singer Damini Ogulu first teased his upcoming album, No Sign of Weakness.
The announcement left fans anticipating the singer’s seventh studio project, but nothing was dropped. With his several teases for the project, it was postponed for 2025. However, no specific date has been fixed for its release.
- Davido - 5IVE
Afrobeats singer David Adeleke, widely known as Davido, recently revealed his upcoming fifth studio project 5ive, for 2025.
The project will follow his previous works on Timeless (2023), A Better Time (2020), A Good Time (2019) and debut project Omo Baba Olowo (2012).
As the year 2024 gradually draws to a close, the Afrobeats singer gave fans something to look forward to in 2025. 5ive is set to drop on March 14, 2025.
- Omah Lay - Clarity of Mind
Omah Lay’s Clarity of Mind album is another highly anticipated Afrobeats project. The singer’s Sophomore album was initially supposed to drop in 2024 before being moved to 2025.
Although the details for the postponement are sketchy, the album is said to drop during the first quarter (January to March) of 2025. Fans will have to anticipate more.
- Black Sherif - Iron Boy
Iron Boy is another anticipated project from Ghana’s singer Black Sheriff.
The album is expected to drop around the first quarter of 2025. He joins the train of music projects to look forward to in 2025.
- Kizz Daniel — Uncle K
Nigerian singer Kizz Daniel earlier announced his album Uncle K, which was originally meant to drop in November. However, for family and other personal reasons, he postponed the album release to 2025 amid anticipation.
Uncle K is set to feature guest appearances from Phyno, Runtown and Victony. It is said to be part of Kizz Daniel’s Vado at 10 celebrations, which marks his success as an Afrobeats star.

4 Nigerian albums to sell over 500,000 units in the US
In a previous report by TheRadar, Afrobeats artiste Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, joined the train of Nigerian artistes who have sold over 500,000 units in the United States of America (USA).
With his fourth studio album, ‘Love, Damini,’ Burna Boy joined Wizkid, Tems and Rema, who had earlier sold over 500,000 units with their projects.
