The West African Examinations Council has officially announced the release of the results for the Computer-Based West African Senior School Certificate Examination (CB-WASSCE) for Private Candidates, 2026 First Series.

The council made the announcement on X on Friday, stating that candidates who sat for the examination would be able to access their results within 12 hours of the release.

According to WAEC, the prompt publication of results underscores the council’s commitment to enhancing service delivery through the use of technology and streamlined examination processes.

“The result of CB-WASSCE for Private Candidates, 2026–First Series, has been released. Candidates can access their results within the next 12 hours. Our thanks to all stakeholders for cooperating with us to achieve this feat,” the statement read.

WAEC also expressed gratitude to various stakeholders for their support in ensuring the smooth conduct of the examination, highlighting the collaborative efforts that contributed to the timely release.
