“Where’s Davido?” How Burna, Tems, Wizkid, others stole the spotlight at LV Fashion Show

Nigerian music stars shine at LV Fashion in Paris.
  • The Nigerian music industry was recognised at Louis Vuitton’s ‘Men’s Spring-Summer Show’ during the Paris Fashion Week.
  • Adekunle Gold, Rema, Wizkid, Tems and others graced the event alongside other American celebrities.

Pictures from the 2024 Paris Fashion Week SS25, which kicked off in France on June 18, 2024, have emerged online and dominated trends as Nigeria's biggest Afrobeats stars who attended the event stole the spotlight from their counterparts who were also present. Not leaving it to their physical appearances alone, they took to their various social media pages to let their fans revel in their imperial fashion sense, giving people a lot to drool and argue about.

Wizkid, Adekunle Gold, Burna Boy, Rema and Tems were among the popular faces who stormed the event. Adekunle Gold’s song with Nile Rodgers and Pharrell Williams, Falling Up, was played to round off the fashion event, which must have made it a proud moment for the Lagos-born superstar. Falling Up is on Adekunle Gold’s most recent album, Tequila Ever After, released in 2023.

Wizkid, Burna, AG Baby, Tems dominate LV show

1. Adekunle Gold 

Adekunle Gold, also known as Eja Nla, showed up in his stylish bomber jacket with colourful neon graffiti designs paired with an earring with the Louis Vuitton logo.



2. Wizkid

The artist graced the event with his baby mama, Jada P, he wore his usual style, sporting a Fair Isle V-neck sweater over a black pair of his usual shorts and iced-out wrists.


3. Burna Boy

The giant of Africa opted for a two-piece carton brown look leaving all the buttons of his top undone and completed the look with a massive diamond necklace.


4. Tems 

Tems attended the event in an off-white ensemble, serving a major rich aunty look in a coat and black pumps. 


5. Rema

The Afrobeats star Rema, settled for a denim-on-denim look, complimenting it with a wine coloured veracity jacket.

Despite the array of Nigerian stars on display at the Paris event, netizens couldn't help but notice the absence of Davido. Here are some reactions of people who felt Davido's presence would have made a difference.
