VeryDarkMan responds to Nedu Wazobia's legal pre-action notice for defamation
  • VeryDarkMan has responded to Nedu Wazobia's legal pre-action notice for defamation
  • The social media critic refused to comply with its demands, instead choosing to take the legal battle to court
  • In retaliation, he released a voice note allegedly implicating Nedu Wazobia in illicit activities, including associations with Yahoo boys and drug dealers

Following the pre-action notice issued by popular media personality Nedu Wazobia, a legal showdown is brewing as social media critic VeryDarkMan stands his ground, refusing to back down.

VeryDarkMan has officially accepted the challenge to face Nedu in court, asserting that he is prepared to defend his claims with evidence.

On Tuesday, February 25, VeryDarkMan took to his Instagram page to address the pre-action notice head-on. "I have no problem going to court," he declared, showcasing his readiness for a legal confrontation.

VeryDarkMan expressed how he publicly questioned the financial transparency behind the N60 million of the NGO’s fund. Rather than addressing the concerns raised, he claimed Nedu’s team responded with a legal notice accusing him of defamation, a move he found surprising.

"The only defence to the allegations of defrauding an NGO in the UK was to send me a letter to keep quiet for defamation," VeryDarkMan remarked, expressing his disbelief.

VeryDarkMan leaks voice note allegedly featuring Nedu

In a dramatic turn, VeryDarkMan released a voice recording allegedly featuring Nedu discussing financial strategy for the NGO’s campaign. In the audio, Nedu is allegedly heard suggesting a shift in focus from Abuja to Lagos and London, stating, “I'm also thinking, this is between me and you, I think we should leave out the Abuja event and focus on Lagos and London.”

The recording took an even more controversial turn when Nedu allegedly expressed ambitions for expanding their outreach globally, stating, “I believe if we do an event in South Africa next... it will give us a lot of money, because I have a lot of Yahoo boys and drug guys that are waiting for me to come to South Africa, Turkey, and even Morocco.”

Citing the leaked voice note, VeryDarkMan called on the governments of South Africa, Turkey, and Morocco to probe the media personality's suspected links to illicit money sources, further escalating the controversy.
