Roh Jeong Eui, Lee Chae Min, Kim Jae Won and others star in this thrilling K-drama.

This is a political drama about a prime minister in South Korea, Park Dong Ho, who wants to expose and punish the corrupt president for joining forces with powerful families in the country to change the world of politics. Similar to the Squid game, eight people who have so much debt take part in a game that changes their lives forever. They enter into a harsh reality where they are to survive in order to win a huge amount of money. Ryu Jun Yeol, Chun Woo Hee, Park Jeong Min and others star in this mystery K-drama.

  • Lovely Runner

This drama, according to many reviews and fan testimony, is one of the best K-dramas ever. It is a time travel drama that gained immense international attention from fans all over the world. The story is about a K-pop star, Ryu Sun Jae, who allegedly commits suicide and his loyal fan, Im Sol, who travels 15 years back in time to save him. Unknown to her, they were neighbours in the past, and Sun Jae had a huge crush on her. While trying to avert the tragedy of Sun Jae’s death, she also tries to avoid the accident that changed her fate. One interesting thing about fan’s love for this K-drama is the acceptance and love the fictional boyband in the K-drama has received from fans all over the world. The band’s song, Sudden Showers, entered the Billboard Global 200 Chart in the US and entered the top 5 of MelOn and the band, Eclipse, are having talks of a concert for their loyal fans. 

  • Chief Detective 1958

This action and comedy drama features a detective who teams up with three other colleagues to fight corruption. The detective also boasts of having the highest arrest rate when it comes to petty thieves.  Lee Je Hoon, Lee Dong Hwi, Choi Woo Sung and others star in this hilarious K-drama. 

  • A Killer Paradox

This K-drama is a thriller, mystery and comedy drama. It is about a college student who accidentally kills a man at a store with a hammer. After this incident, he realises that the man he murdered accidentally was a serial killer and that he has the power to identify bad guys. He then becomes a hero who hunts and punishes evil people. Choi Woo Shik, Son Suk Ku, and others play the main roles in this series. 

  • The Midnight Studio

This K-drama is a fantasy series. It is about a photographer, Seo Ki Joo, who owns a generational photo studio for ghosts. Another lawyer, Han Bom, ends up in a partnership with Ki Joo’s photo studio. A side note, if you are not into series with jump-scare ghosts, this K-drama is not for you. 

  • Flex X Cop

Itaewon Class’ Ahn Bo Hyun stars in this detective movie as a third generation Chaebol, Jin Yi Soo, who enters the police force to clean up his image and support his father’s political ambition. He uses his wealth and connections to crack cases and catch criminals. He also solves the mystery behind his superior’s father’s dismissal from the force. 

  • Knight Flower

This historical drama is about a widow, Cho Yeo, whose in-laws are the most prestigious noble family in the kingdom. She leads a life of a devoted widow during the day and a hero at night, saving helpless people. Along the way, she meets a handsome senior officer who discovers her secret. Cho Yeo Hwa, Lee Jong Won, Lee Ki Woo, and others star in this series.
