Wunmi’s sister, Karimot Ogunbayo, has shared some incriminating information concerning the death of late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad.
Karimot alleged that the young widow had a hand in her late husband’s death. She revealed that Wunmi intentionally hid evidence away from the police during investigations into the cause of the singer’s death.
The late singer’s sister-in-law went on TikTok Live on Monday, August 12, to divulge this information.
She also alleged that Wunmi stole Mohbad’s phone from his mother and had diverted Mohbad’s money to an account opened in her mother’s name.
She added: “That phone is evidence, so why did she steal it from the poor woman? And the so-called Alhaja Jokotade is aware of it. The police requested that all Mohbad’s phones be submitted and they thought they had collected all Mohbad’s phones not knowing that there’s still one phone that was not submitted.
“I was there at Panti when the police collected the phones.”
She also said she has more incriminating information about Wunmi on Mohbad’s death.
Karimot alleged that Wunmi was the one who got the nurse that injected Mohbad, leading to his death. She said they had a fight which damaged a railing in his house.
Nigerians react to Karimot’s revelation
Netizens have expressed shock over Karimot’s revelations. Some people who were of the opinion that his wife could not be guilt-free felt justified in their suspicion of the young widow. While some Nigerians thought the matter had dragged on for so long, others thought Wunmi should be investigated. Some others thought it weird that Wunmi’s sister is against her and is revealing damning information against her.

Mohbad’s family conducts second autopsy to determine cause of late singer’s death
Meanwhile, TheRadar earlier reported that the family of late Afrobeats musician, Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad, conducted a second autopsy to determine the cause of his death.
The singer’s family requested a second autopsy last month after the cause of his death could not be determined from the first autopsy that was done in May.
