The 11th edition of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) was held in Lagos on Saturday, May 29, at Eko Hotels and Suites, celebrating the biggest and brightest names in African entertainment for their outstanding performances.
This year, many categories presented strong competition, with industry legends and emerging actors vying for recognition.
In the Best Actress category, Chioma Akpotha won for her performance in Seven Doors. Femi Adebayo also won the Best Actor category for Seven Doors.
Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe won Best Supporting Actress for her role in Farmer's Bride, while Lateef Adedimeji and his wife, Mo Bimpe, bagged the award for Best Indigenous Language Film (West Africa) for Lisabi: The Uprising.
