Following Gistlover’s loud allegations against Godswill Akpabio, the Senate President, about having affairs with female celebrities who were allegedly his side chicks, Nigerians have begun to compare the expensive lifestyles of some celebrities with their fellow popular figures.
Nollywood star Timini Egbuson also became a subject of comparison on social media after one of the lawmaker's alleged side chicks was identified as his elder sister.
It all started when a netizen, @kussman posted: “the lifestyle of actresses and actors in this industry don’t match.”
Another netizen @47kasz replied: “Wetin Nancy Isime go pull financially then no born Timini well to try it.”
While some Nigerians defended the actor, saying he was wealthy in his own right, others corroborated @47kasz’s claim that Timini was not up to par with the actresses.
