Paul Okoye, also known as Rudeboy, has finally reacted to his brother Jude Okoye's recent arrest and detention in prison.
Jude, who managed the defunct music group PSquare, was arraigned in court by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for alleged fraud.
In a surprising Instagram story post, Paul Okoye wrote, "Exactly what he wants. This too, shall pass. Stay strong brother @judeengees."
However, many netizens believe that Paul directed shade at Peter Okoye, his twin brother and former music partner in the post, sparking a heated debate on social media.
Jude was charged with allegedly laundering ₦1.38 billion, $1 million, and £34,537.59. He was arraigned alongside his company, Northside Music Ltd, before Justice Alexander Owoeye of the Federal High Court, Lagos, on a seven-count charge.
According to reports, Jude Okoye acquired a landed property at No 5, Tony Eromosele Street Parkview Estate, Ikoyi, Lagos worth ₦850,000,000.00 (Eight hundred and fifty million naira) in 2022, which was claimed to be part of the proceeds of an unlawful act.
Jude pleaded not guilty to all charges and was remanded in the Ikoyi correctional facility pending the next hearing.
