Popular Nigerian comedian Oluwaseyi Aletile, otherwise known as Seyi Law, has appreciated the Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, for appointing him as Senior Special Assistant on entertainment and tourism.
In an appreciation letter titled Acceptance and Appreciation Message by Oluwaseyitan Lawrence Aletile as SSA to Ondo State Governor on Entertainment and Tourism, comedian Seyi Law expressed his gratitude for the consideration and how significant the role is for him.
The statement posted on his official X (formerly Twitter) page on July 29 reads in part, I am deeply honoured and grateful for the opportunity to serve as the Senior Special Assistant to the Ondo State Governor of Entertainment and Tourism.
This appointment is not only a recognition of my contributions to the entertainment industry but also a testament to the trust and confidence that His Excellency, the Governor, has placed in me.
To the people of Ondo State, I am here to serve you with dedication and integrity. Our state is rich in culture, talent and natural beauty. I believe that together, we can elevate our entertainment and tourism sections to new heights. This will not only provide more opportunities for our talented individuals but also boost the local economy and showcase our state on a global stage.
The 41-year-old comedian also extended his appreciation to friends, family and colleagues, noting their immense support throughout his career.
Closing his letter, he expressed his open-mindedness and willingness to work with the appropriate stakeholders to effectively deliver his role.
Meanwhile, Seyi Law’s appointment was made through an official statement from the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Ebenezer Adeniyan, requiring him to start with immediate effect.
Adeniyan, in the released statement, disclosed that Seyi Law’s appointment was geared towards smooth service to the people of Ondo and also to enhance the governance of the state.

Toyin Abraham: Comedian Seyi Law writes Netflix, defends actress over allegations
Earlier, TheRadar reported that in response to the social media defamation saga trending about Nigerian actress Toyin Abraham, Comedian Seyi Law stood up for her with a letter to the popular streaming platform Netflix.
The letter titled “Say No to Social Media Abuse and Harassment” pointed out that there is targeted abuse of the Alakada crooner on social media. However, he noted that many of the incidents are currently reported and responded to by the Nigerian Police.
