- Similarly, Singer Mr 2Kay also added his perception of the trending saga
- Endless reactions and developments have continued to trail the Equatorial Guinea scandal since it surfaced
It's been a long week since the massive revelation of scandalous tapes involving Equatorial Guinea Financial Crimes Chief Baltasar Engonga with hundreds of women.
Engonga was said to have recorded his extramarital affairs, including married women, his cousin, and his brother’s wife, among others.
Endless reactions have trailed the developing story, which went viral on Monday, November 4. For celebrities' reactions, Nollywood actress Sarah Martins is among the latest to share her thoughts.
Martins shared her perception about the Equatorial Guinea official involved in the trending scandal and why she thinks he should be commended.
The Nollywood actress shared her thoughts via her Insta Story on Wednesday, November 6, where she described Baltasar as “every woman’s dream man.”
“Jokes aside, that Equatorial Guinea guy is every woman's dream man. Man is so skilled, very soft, very much in charge in bed, top-notch energy, understands every mood, plays Naija songs on every escapade. Omo he's a full spec make we no lie.” Martins wrote.
She further concluded that some of the women involved gave their consent and wanted to be sexually exploited.
For others, Martins opined that they were just used to cover up their husbands' dirty linen, considering that Baltsar Engonga was the country's anti-graft boss.
“Some women willingly gave themselves to him for exploitation while some women were given to him as settlement to wipe off their husbands' bad record from the system. Man’s so hot,” she added.
Singer Mr 2Kay shares thoughts on the Equatorial Guinea saga
Like other celebrities, singer Abinye David, popularly known as Mr 2Kay, also shared his thoughts on the illicit tapes.
For Mr 2Kay, the scandal in Equatorial Guinea is nothing compared to what goes on in Nigeria. He posited that the only difference is that Nigeria’s sexcapades are yet to be exposed.
He went on to mention professionals who are mostly likely involved and shared that there is evidence to back up his claims.
“This thing Wey happen for Equatorial Guinea, Na Child's play oh. Worst dey sup for Naija just that e never cast yet. Especially all these realtors, interior designers, designers and perfume sellers. Evidence dey o. Evidence dey.” he wrote via his Insta Story.
Ini Edo, Hilda Baci, others dragged as blogger makes bold allegations against Akpabio
TheRadar earlier reported that controversial social media blog Gistlover named Hilda Baci, Dakore Akande, Idi Edo and other female celebrities as the alleged side chicks of Nigeria's senate president, Senator Godswill Akpabio.
This is coming after a women's group, FLEADERS Nigeria, demanded an apology from the senate president over his sexist remark towards a female lawmaker representing Kogi Central in the senate, Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan.
Akpabio had addressed the senator, saying that the Senate chamber was not a nightclub and she must be recognised before speaking during plenary.
