Asake’s recently released track Active featuring Travis Scott is already topping the charts as the biggest Nigerian debut on Spotify Global.
With this entry of his new track, Asake leaves no doubt on his record-breaking abilities as one of Nigeria’s biggest Afrobeats singers.
Asake’s Active made his new debut entry with 1.56 million streams replacing Omah Lay’s previous record of 1.53 million streams.

In a data released on August 8, by 49th Street, the Fuji and Amapiano-styled production artiste lead the top 5 list of Nigerian songs with the biggest debut on Spotify Global.
Gathering a total of 1.31 million streams, Burna Boy ranked third position and 5th position with his 1.14 million streams on City Boys.
Rema’s feature with Selena Gomez on Calm Down ranked 4th with a total of 1.25 million streams.
Meanwhile, from the list, one can see that while other artistes had international features on their songs, Burna Boy’s entry with Higher and City Boys had none.
