Nigerian singer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, is set to release his first single in 2024.
This single comes after a year of his critically acclaimed ‘Timeless’ album in 2023, and would be his first solo project for the year.
In an X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday, October 1, Davido shared the preview of his upcoming unreleased single on his page.
“First single of the year loading. Happy Independence Day!” he announced.
However, the release date was not disclosed in the post but ignited anticipation for the project, which will drop before the end of the year.

Earlier, TheRadar reported that a break from solo projects so far in 2024, famous Nigerian singer David Adeleke, otherwise known as, Davido, teased fans with an upcoming track he is working on.
This news comes on the heels of his most recent and anticipated collaboration with legendary African singer Angelique Kidjo on Joy.
Via his official X (formerly Twitter) page, on Wednesday, September 11, Davido made the announcement, also signalling a controversy he might cause with the new track.
