Nigerians have been on the neck of popular Nigerian content creator Korty for allegedly body-shaming popular Tanzanian singer Diamond Platnumz. 

Diamond Platnumz is currently on the social media radar as a contestant on the latest edition of the Young, Famous and African reality TV series. 

Korty, in a January 19 post on X (formerly Twitter), wondered what makes women attracted to the singer suggesting that it was because of money. 

“I can never understand the attraction to diamond platnumz. Omo Just have money mehn,” she wrote. 

Netizens have reacted to Korty’s comment heavily criticising her for body shaming the singer.

Content creator Hauwa faces criticism, deletes controversial comment 

Earlier, TheRadar reported that popular content creator and screenwriter Hauwa Lawal was heavily criticised over a social media comment she made about Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W). 

The criticism eventually led to the content creator deleting the comment. The content creators' reply sparked controversy, especially among the Muslim faithful, who considered her address to Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) as ‘that man’ disrespectful.
