Popular content creator and screenwriter Hauwa Lawal has come under heavy criticism over a social media comment she made about Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W). 

The criticism eventually led to the content creator deleting the comment, which seemed to have sparked reactions from the Muslim community. 

Hauwa, on Tuesday, November 5, replied to a tweet by Spiricoco Twitter about the hours Muslims pray and how the issue of its productivity 

Muslims pray 5 hours daily. That is 5 economic hours devoted to religion. Muslims make up for more than half of the population of Nigeria. If we want to draw a false correlation between religion and productivity, we shouldn't compare religion with the best university in Nigeria.” SpiricocoNG tweeted. 

In a now-deleted response to the controversial tweet, which was already generating mixed reactions in the comment section, Hauwa added her perception of the tweet. 

Trust me, they told that man (saw) to go back and reduce it,” Hauwa replied. 

The content creators' reply sparked controversy, especially among the Muslim faithful, who considered her address to Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) as ‘that man’ disrespectful.

“It’s just cruise,” Peller, Jarvis clear the air on N30 million tumour surgery help

Earlier, TheRadar reported that popular Nigerian content creator Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, made a U-turn on his call to help raise N30 million for his colleague and girlfriend Jarvis to undergo tumour surgery. 

Jarvis earlier opened up about her jaw tumour a week after online critics alleged that she abandoned her career to just be Peller’s girlfriend. 

In an Instagram video on Tuesday, October 29, Peller, who had earlier called for the N30 million surgery help, disclosed that he was only joking about the financial help. He noted that Jarvis was perfectly fine.
